FROM 2010 THROUGH 2018, ODBI SERVED 1,116 AT-RISK GEORGIA STUDENTS, WHO WERE HOMELESS, IN FOSTER CARE OR EXPERIENCING HIGH POVERTY, DELIVERING 65 12-SESSION COACHING PROGRAMS LED BY EXECUTIVE-LEVEL LIFE COACHES: 47 PROGRAMS DELIVERED TO 822 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS; 18 COACHING FOR COLLEGE COMPLETION (CCC) PROGRAMS DELIVERED TO 294 POSTSECONDARY STUDENTS. ODBI EXPANDED ITS SERVICES BY COLLABORATING WITH FORSYTH CO GA SCHOOL DISTRICT AND THE COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING TO ITS HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS WHO WERE HOMELESS. THOUGH ODBI'S PARTNERSHIP WITH GEAR UP GEORGIA, SERVICES CONTINUED TO REMAIN ON TRACK TO ACHIEVE A GOAL OF SERVING 1000 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS FROM 2016-2022. 444 STUDENTS ACROSS 7 GEORGIA COUNTIES, HAVE ALREADY PARTICIPATED IN ODBI/GEAR UP GEORGIA PROGRAMS. ODBI ALSO RECEIVED SUPPORT FROM TWO NEW RESOURCES - PRICE GILBERT CHARITABLE FUND AND IDA ALICE RYAN CHARITABLE TRUST - AS OUR MISSIONS ARE IN ALIGNMENT TO SERVE INDIVIDUALS IN NEED. ODBI CONTINUED TO RECEIVE GENEROUS SUPPORT FROM JE DUNN CONSTRUCTION THROUGH FUNDRAISING EVENT SPONSORSHIPS AND SUPPORT OF GENERAL OPERATIONS. STRATEGIC COMMITTEES AND MEMBERSHIPS IN 2018: ODBI OFFICERS HELD SEATS ON THE FOLLOWING: GEORGIA YOUTH OPPORTUNITIES INITIATIVE (GYOI) - EDUCATION SUBCOMMITTEE GEAR UP GEORGIA EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP LOCAL COORDINATING COUNCILS ACROSS 6 COUNTIES, WHICH INCLUDE THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PARTNERS AS WELL AS SCHOOL LEADERSHIP IN EACH DISTRICT.
