The neighborhood grant program consists of four categories available to residents. The owner-occupied grant allows up to 2,000 to make exterior repairs or to remedy exterior violations. The community beautification and improvement grant allows up to 1,000 for projects which beautify the streetscapes, public spaces and or green space. The neighborhood event- community engagement grant allows up to 500 to host community events, send mailers for neighborhood organizations, host block parties or other projects. Senior citizen grass cutting and snowplowing allows residents over the age of 65 to apply for assistance if they are unable to perform the work themselves and are on fixed income. Eligible South Euclid commercial property owners can apply for a matching grant up to 30,000 for transformational projects. 100% match is required. Improvements must be visible from the street and completed by the end of the year.
