Mission

The purpose of City Church Project is to identify, develop, and resource leaders in metropolitan South Florida.

About

In 2018, CityChurch Project started an innovative two-year pastoral residency program and found its first resident. This first of many residents will complete the program as part of CCP's mission of starting effective churches in urban South Florida. This residency is partially funded through a new partnership with Made to Flourish via grant award. CCP also executed the majority of a research program (led by an independent marketing consultant) focused on better serving South Florida through updated knowledge of our target base. This research will be shared with likeminded organizations and entities for the flourishing of the church in urban South Florida. CCP invests in initiatives of unity among churches in its network and is currently seeking to add likeminded area churches as partners. CCP director Rick Hunter has incorporated into its activities the pastors of newer churches, forming a ministry design team focused on innovating church organization and logistics; teaching and coaching pastors through City to City Miami and Gospel Collective; a church-starting alliance for Church United (National Christian Foundation); and similar catalytic activities.
