GA's school serves students in grades one-12 with dyslexia, ADHD or other executive functioning challenges. Students are grouped into small classes, methods and materials are geared toward individual needs, and students are actively engaged in learning through multi-sensory instruction. All students participate in daily instruction in reading, spelling, written expression, math, social studies and science. Enrichment options include physical education, art, music and performing arts. Curriculum is evidence-based and designed to support each student's strong capability to learn while providing flexibility in how they learn. A core component of the curriculum is how students learn to read. GA's school successfully incorporates over 50 years of proven academic research in its literacy instruction with its students typically gaining over two years of reading growth during their first year of instruction.
