THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES PROJECT LEADERSHIP AT THREE LEVELS: 1. MY STORY MATTERS OFFERS ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE WHO THEY ARE AND WHAT THEY VALUE THROUGH INDIVIDUAL AND GROUP-DIRECTED ACTIVITIES. 2. MY VOICE MATTERS BUILDS ON THE EARLY LESSONS OF MY STORY MATTERS BUT IS AIMED AT THE MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENT. HERE STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO THINK ABOUT HOW THEIR VOICE IS A TOOL TO EXERCISE PERSONAL POWER, BY FOCUSING ON BUILDING SELF-CONFIDENCE IN THEIR OWN STRENGTHS AND TEACHING THEM THE ART OF EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION. 3. MY FUTURE MATTERS IS DESIGNED TO CREATE THE NEXT GENERATION OF STUDENT LEADERS. THROUGH WORKSHOPS AND SERVICE PROJECTS, THE CURRICULUM ADDRESSES CORE ELEMENTS OF CHARACTER AND LEADERSHIP, THUS GUIDING THE STUDENTS THROUGH PROBLEM-SOLVING TO ULTIMATELY EXPOSE THEM TO THE KEY ELEMENTS OF SELF-DISCOVERY, TEAM WORK AND SERVICE.

AMONG THE THREE LEVELS - MY STORY MATTERS, MY VOICE MATTERS AND MY FUTURE MATTERS - AMOUNTS WERE EXPENDED ON BEHALF OF THE STUDENTS TO ENSURE THE STUDENTS' NEEDS WERE ADDRESSED AND THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION WAS DELIVERED AS PROMISED. IN THE PROCESS, WE WORKED WITH STUDENTS AT THE ELEMENTARY, MIDDLE SCHOOL, HIGH SCHOOL LEVELS - OVER 450 STUDENTS IN ALL. CHILDREN HAVE BEEN AND CONTINUE TO BE SERVED UP TO THE AGE OF 21.FEEDBACK CAME FROM PARENTS AND FAMILY, SCHOOL ADMINISTRATORS AND FACULTY AND FROM THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND WAS ENTHUSIASTIC AND SUPPORTIVE. THE PROGRAM HAS BEEN INCORPORATED INTO THE GENERAL CURRICULA OF EACH OF THE SCHOOLS AND ALL STUDENTS ARE PARTICIPATING IN "MY FUTURE MATTERS" AS PART OF THEIR GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS. THE PROGRAM DURATION FOR EACH STUDENT IS ONE SEMESTER.STUDENT SURVEY SHOW SELF-ASSESSED GROWTH IN DECISION-MAKING SKILLS, EMOTIONAL AWARENESS, INVOLVEMENT IN LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AND IN SELF-CONFIDENCE. SIMILARLY, TEACHERS AND COUNSELORS CONSIDTENTLY REPORT TREMENDOUS STUDENT ENGAGEMENT. THEY EXPRESS DEEP BELIEF THAT THE PROGRAM IMPACTS HOW THEIR STUDENTS THINK ABOUT THEIR FUTURES. IN FACT, THEY SEE A DIRECT IMPACT IN HOW STUDENTS MAKE DECISION AND ADDRESS CHALLENGES IN THEIR LIVES.
