Mines Advisory Group (MAG) is an international organization that saves lives and builds futures through the removal and destruction of landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO), and other weapons remaining after conflict. MAG America is a 501(c)3 organization that raises funds and awareness for MAG's life-saving work from the American community, which includes individuals, corporations, foundations and government donors. MAG America's mission is to save lives and build safer futures. We do this by clearing landmines, cluster munitions and other unexploded bombs and by reducing the impact on communities of small arms, light weapons and ammunition

IN 2018 WE CLEARED OVER 100,000 LANDMINES AND UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE, WHICH RELEASED 13,500 ACRES OF SAFE LAND BACK TO COMMUNITIES TO REBUILD THEIR LIVES AND LIVELIHOODS. IN ADDITION MAG PROVIDED OVER 52,000 RISK EDUCATION CLASSESS AND DESTROYED MORE THAN 9,000 WEAPONS. WE HELP COMMUNITIES TO RECOVER FROM CONFLICT, REDUCING THE THREAT FROM SMALL ARMS AND LIGHT WEAPONS, AND ENABLE SOCIO AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT THROUGH CLEARANCE OF LANDMINES AND UNEXPLODED ORDNANCE, BATTLE AREA CLEARANCE, EXPLOSIVE ORDNANCE DISPOSAL, EMERGENCY RESPONSE, RISK EDUCATION, PHYSICAL SECURITY AND STOCKPILE MANAGEMENT, AND TRAINING OF HOST NATION EMPLOYEES AND AUTHORITIES.
