Our mission is to encourage and equip public school students in Horry County by teaching the truth found in God's word. The primary purpose of Coastal School Ministries' continues to be to provide public school students in Horry County School District the opportunity to participate in a daily elective or exploratory Bible class under the released-time program.

Coastal School Ministries 2018-19 program accomplishments: 1) Continued beneficial collaborative relationship with School Ministries, Inc. and with 17 sponsoring churches and 3 host churches. 2) Generated significant progress toward more effective social media presence and community awareness efforts. 3) Continued efforts toward board representation within the Myrtle Beach community. 4) Continued 2 faith support partnerships with other faith based youth organizations in service area. 5) Continued service partnerships with 2 faith-based counselors to offer and encourage family and addictions counseling services, crisis intervention, and home and family support services. 6) Maintained full enrollment at 8 or 9 school locations. 7) Experienced the largest enrollment since beginning in 2001. 8) Experienced the largest registration waiting list of students desiring to attend next semester's Bible classes.
