About

Campaign coordination - international Tibet network supported coordinated campaign actions - through facilitated planning and creating shareable resources in a variety of languages - on a range of priority issues. There was a campaign victory to stop Google developing a censored search engine for China. The Panchen Lama and Tashi Wangchuk were the lead profiles in our 'Free Tibetan Heroes' campaign www.freetibetanheroes.org for the release of political prisoners. The fourth annual Tenzin Delek Rinpoche Medal of Courage was awarded to the Panchen Lama. International Tibet Network continued to support advocacy at the UN Human Rights Council and campaigns on Confucius Institutes were reinvigorated. New campaigns were launched on Tibet's climate crisis and Apple's withdrawal of apps that human rights defenders use from its China app store.
