During 2018, the Sonoma Valley Historical Society sponsored three major programs that served the local and broader community: History and Me, Third Grade Project. Through a grant from the County of Sonoma Landmarks Commission, Sassarini Elementary School Third Graders piloted the first History and Me project teaching the students how to visualize their communitys historical architecture and how to recognize various elements of period-appropriate architectural elements.
