The Center for Elders' Independence provides high quality, affordable, integrated health care services to the elderly, which promote autonomy, quality of life and the ability of individuals to live in their communities. CEI is a provider of the Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) which uses an interdisciplinary care team to provide fully integrated medical and social services and long-term supports to frail seniors.

CEI assumes full risk for and directly provides or contracts to provide the full benefits to which individuals are entitled under Medicare and Medi-Cal programs, including but not limited to primary care, specialty care, acute and skilled nursing facility care, day care, skilled nursing home health visits, non-nursing home care, transportation, meals, social and psychosocial services.
