SSA publishes two leading peer-reviewed journals on the subject of seismology. In 2018, SSA published eight issues of the Bulletin of the Seismological Society of America, a technical publication that focuses on earthquake seismology research and related fields; and six issues of Seismological Research Letters, which provides a less-formal venue for reporting on advances in seismology.
