See description on schedule ofood and shelter program: The Bay Area Rescue Mission provides shelter for approximately 45,000 men, 25,000 women, and 10,000 children. The combined total represents approximately 80,000 bed nights of shelter provided throughout the year. The food service program serves meals to the resident homeless, non-resident homeless and near-homeless guests. Approximately 700,000 meals were provided during the year. Long-term residential recovery program: This program provides men, women, and children with the following services: education, job skills training, life skills training, job placement, family reconciliation, assistance with overcoming financial and legal issues, transitional living, medical assistance, spiritual programs and counseling. These services meet the physical and spiritual needs of the residents by educating and equipping them through the gospel of Jesus Christ so they re-enter society as contributing citizens.
