During the 2018/2019 season, the acting company developed and showcased a company of 11 actors - the majority of them new and recent alumni of the Juilliard Drama Division - in a rotating two-play repertoire consisting of the New York premiere of Nambi E. Kelley's adaptation of the Richard Wright novel 'Native Son and a new production of William Shakespeare's 'Measure for Measure.' The productions played for 46 performances at the Duke on 42nd Street, reaching a total audience of 5,098. Native Son was nominated for 7 Audelco Awards and won the award for best play. In the months following the productions, 3 young actors from the repertory company went on to make their Broadway debuts.
