Next Generation Scholars (NGS) equips and empowers first-generation, under-resourced Marin County middle and high school students to succeed in college and beyond through socially-conscious leadership development. Grounded in individualized academic and social support for them and their families, our students are emboldened to address the inequities in the world, both for themselves and for their communities. NGS supports Scholars to realize their unique identities, achieve their goals and take command of their futures through four program elements and four core strategies. Programs include Academic, Leadership Development, College/Career Counseling and Family Services. Strategies include Academics, Community Engagement, Family Support and Longitudinal Services (6th grade to career).
