Mission

We provide clothing to impoverished and homeless children in Wake County. Note in the Pocket believes that it is unacceptable that children are limited in their educational and social development because they do not have appropriate clothes for school. Through our partnerships with schools, agencies, individuals, businesses and foundations, we clothe children with dignity and love.

Note in the Pocket has only one primary program to provide local homeless and impoverished schoolchildren, and their families, with high quality clothing. In 2018, 3,037 students received mini-wardrobes of school clothes and 761 younger siblings and 553 adults also received much needed clothing assistance throughout Wake County.
