About

Youth development - Our YMCA is committed to nurturing the potential of every child and teen. We believe all kids deserve the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. That's why we help young people cultivate the values, skills, and relationships that lead to positive behaviors, better health, and educational achievement. Our YMCA programs, such as child care, summer camp, swimming lessons, swim team, and youth sports, offer a wide range of experiences that enrich cognitive, social, physical, and emotional growth. Nearly 38% of our members are under 18. Last year over 379 youth utilized our child care programs. Scholarships make participation possible for all youth in our community.
