Contributing to your Daffy fund is a simple and straightforward process that can be done from any device. Daffy, a registered 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, offers a variety of ways to contribute to your fund. You can set aside money for charity on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis by linking your bank account. One-time contributions can also be made through Apple Pay™, major debit or credit cards, most publicly-traded stock, or even over 120 cryptocurrencies. You can also transfer an existing donor-advised fund to Daffy.
The Daffy Pledge is a commitment to give a certain amount to charity. You simply tell Daffy how much you want to give, select the frequency of your donations, and link your bank account. The new Daffy for Web onboarding flow makes it easy to make this commitment from any device, eliminating the need to switch between daffy.org and the App Store when setting up your account.
All contributions to your Daffy fund are tax-deductible in the year they are made. After every donation, you have the option to share a personalized graphic highlighting your donation, encouraging others to join you in supporting the charities you love.
Daffy also rewards you for inviting friends. For every friend that becomes a member, you receive an extra $25 in your Daffy fund, and they do too. Your invite link can be found in the app by tapping “Invite Friends & Get $100” from the Homescreen in the app or on the web.
Daffy is a great option for a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) because it supports over 1.5 million charities, making it easy for you to find and donate to the organizations and causes you care about. Plus, with Daffy, you never have to worry about losing a donation receipt again.
