Unlike most donor-advised funds (DAFs) that charge high minimum fees and a percentage based on the amount of money in the fund, Daffy charges a simple, flat membership fee. This means more of your money goes directly to the charities and causes you care about most.
Our membership fees are as follows:
- Daffy is free for members with less than $100 in their fund.
- $3 per month for an individual fund and the ability to contribute up to $25,000 in stock, crypto, or through an existing donor-advised fund transfer.
- $5 per month for a family fund and the ability to contribute up to $50,000 in stock, crypto, or through an existing donor-advised fund transfer.
- $20 per month for individual or family funds and the ability to contribute unlimited stock, crypto, or existing donor-advised fund transfer.
We don't charge additional donation fees, so 100% of your donation recommendation always goes to causes you care about.
In terms of waiving membership fees, Daffy offers a free membership for those with fund balances of up to $100. This allows you to invest in any of our 13 different tax-free portfolios and make unlimited donations to almost every U.S. public charity, including schools and religious institutions.
